Baby Anna 1 year old! 11.09

Well, you might remember baby Anna that I did pictures of in January…she’s almost a year old!  So, mom called me again to do pictures for the family.  This is just a precious family, that I have had the privilege of knowing for several years now.  I have to say that Anna gets more and more beautiful, and it’s so neat to see Josh and Christy as parents.  This baby girl is not only blessed with a wonderful family, but with Godly parents, who will raise her to know Jesus!  I had fun, again, out at grandma’s house for this shoot.  Of course, you can’t go wrong, with such a beautiful backdrop for pictures. :)   The hardest part of every shoot is determining which ones to put online.  I wish you could see them all…but here is your sneak peek of a few of my favorites.  I pray these pictures will be a wonderful memory of your precious daughter, who will grow all too quickly! :) Love you guys!

Four generations of beauties…:)…

Photographing toddlers can be tiring, but it’s so much fun…just follow them wherever they choose to go! :)

Anna just couldn’t keep her hair bows in! Kept taking them out. I’m so glad I got this shot of “real life”…I love the look on Christy’s face in this one! :)

This is “Anna’s tree” in grandma’s kitchen. The ornaments are for her to play with and touch..it was my favorite tree. :) So colorful!

If you look at the pink ornament in the middle, you can see me “hard at work.” (it’s more like play!)

Okay, I had to add one outtake..this one makes me laugh! :)

Meet our friends, the McDaniels family! :) We met Tony and Carrie at our church and have had the blessing of being in a home group with them. They are a lot of fun, and I was so excited when they asked me to take their pictures! They have patiently waited, and now I am happy to announce that your sneak peek is ready! We headed out to Anderson County on a cold October day..it was one of the coldest of the year to that point. We braved the weather, and I think it was the quickest session I have ever done, but I got so many good shots, it was hard to choose which ones to put up here on the blog! I love you guys and am blessed to call you friends. I hope these pictures bring enjoyment and good memories to your family for years to come! (And, thanks Chuck and Becky for letting us use your property and tractor! You guys are always so giving!) :) So, here’s a few of my favorites…..

Okay, so..Andrew is the drummer for the famous Josh Martin band, who I have done several photo shoots for, and for years he’s been telling me that I will be taking pictures when he finds “the one for him.” Well, he found her ( I think she was in aisle Q3 at Wal-Mart, for those of you looking for one! hee,hee..), and she is a DOLL!!! He proposed to her at an apple orchard (thus the “ring on the apple” picture…her favorite type of apple, by the way). :) I was SO excited when he really did ask me to do their enagement pictures (he wasn’t just flattering me!). We headed out to Cove Springs Park (with my trusty servant  assistant, Samantha) and had so much fun. :) So, aren’t they cute? And, they are getting married on New Years Eve! How cool is that? Thank you, guys, for choosing me to do your pictures, and I hope you love them as much as I do.  I think you both are very blessed to have each other. God is so good!! :)

and one just for fun (this was NOT posed, by the way…just good timing)!!!….:)…

Well, I am finally getting around to finshing up John and Suzannes’ pictures. :) They are one of the most fun couples you could know! John never stops teasing, and Suzanne puts up with it..and you’ve just gotta love them! :) They are expecting their first baby-a girl-and asked me to do some maternity photos. Woohoo! We went around here in Frankfort, and then I drug them into a field..poor guys! I was so sure they were going to get chiggers. :) It ended up..no chiggers, just lots of burrs. But, I think that was worth it for the pictures we got. :) Such a little price to pay. ha! Guys, you are great, and we’re so blessed you are at our church and are so thankful to God for this gift of a child He has blessed you with! We cannot wait to meet her..and if she’s as pretty as her mama, they might have trouble on their hands. :)

Ryan ‘10

Well, here he is..my last senior for the fall! This is Ryan. :) Ryan’s family goes to our church, and his dad is one of our pastors. What a blessing this family is to know! They are just precious friends.  I was so stoked when they asked me to do Ryan’s senior pictures. We had a long day, but alot of fun. We headed over to his football field first, then we walked all around downtown Frankfort. His mom and little brother joined us, too, and it was great to meet them. I hope you love these pictures as I do…it was very hard to pick my favorites, but here goes…:) ….

Yes, August 2009!  Everyone who got me in August has been very patient! School started, then we went on vacation, then I got sick this past weekend.  I’m trying very hard to catch up.

ANYHOW, David and Mandy are dear friends of ours from church, who are actually part of our community (home) group.  We have had alot of fun with them, and their photo session was no exception!  As you can see, they have 4 beautiful boys, who call me “Ms. Kari” , and they have one more on the way…although you can hardly, if at all, tell in the pictures!  It was a fun, crazy whirlwind of a day chasing around these four boys. Wow!  I now know how Mandy keeps her figure! :)   But, they are fun and full of life.  And, David and Mandy are great parents, and you can see the love they have for their “blessings.”  I took a TON of shots this photo shoot, a lot of candids…it was a joy just to follow them and see what they’d do! I kept laughing when editing these, because you could see from frame to frame how “busy” it was.  :)  We did these at two separate locations, which allowed us some different options.   I hope these pictures are a blessing to you guys.  We are so thankful God has brought you to our church family.

Keough Wedding Reception

Brad and Jacqui decided to skip town and get married out of state on the beach (who can blame them?), but also wanted to do a wedding reception here in Frankfort. Jacqui’s mom had heard of me through a friend, and they chose me to do their wedding reception pictures. It was at the Carter House, which was a new venue for me. What a lovely couple they are, and what a lovely family they have! They were all so gracious to me and very sweet. I enjoyed working with you all so much. Thank you for inviting me into your lives for this special day, and may God’s blessings rest on your marriage.

Baby Hannah and family

Well, a few years ago, I got to cover the wedding of Jason and Emily.  Emily is a friend, who used to work with my husband for Crossings Ministries. I was so very excited when Jason and Emily had a beautiful baby girl, and even more excited when they said they had to have me to photograph her! :) So, I packed up my gear and headed to Louisville for a Lifestyle session. It was a big day, with lots of family there, but we had fun…well, I did anyhow! :) Sorry about your pants, Jason…maybe next time we’ll put a diaper on the baby! hee, hee… :) Love you guys and I hope you enjoy some of my faves of your lifestyle session!

…her mother had all these lovely scriptures all over her nursery….

One thing I remember most about my great-grandma was her hands, so I get ‘grandma hands’ pictures whenever I can. :)
