After photographing Micheal (see previous post), we met up with his cousin, Brandon. Brandon and his mother bravely rode in my car
as we went around downtown Frankfort to several locations to do his photo shoot. He’s a very nice young man, a great runner (one of the best in his school, from what I hear!) and girls…look at those eyes! They are just as blue in person! We weren’t sure this session was going to happen, because of the weather, but God had grace on us this day, and the rain came just as we ended!
I had fun with these pictures, as I’m trying out some new editing techniques. God bless and I hope you all like your sneak peek as much as I do!

Back in the fall, I did some engagement pictures (here), which were some of my favorites I had done up to that point! Well, Kyle is Micheal’s cousin, as you can certainly tell from their pictures! Micheal’s mom emailed and we set up some senior pictures for Michael downtown at the Capitol building. Right after Michael’s senior pictures, I did senior pictures for his other cousin, Brandon.
(that’s where the bottom picture comes in) Micheal and Brandon go to rival schools and so they wanted a picture together in their school colors. Micheal was great to work with and had one of the best natural smiles I’ve seen yet in a teenage boy!
We had alot of fun. Thanks for choosing me, and enjoy your sneak peeks.

I had the privilege of photographing Chris for a second time this year! The first time he just needed a quick picture for his yearbook, and this time was for his “real” senior sitting, even though he has already graduated! Better late than never! Chris’ family goes to our church, and it was great to work with him. :) We went out and he put up with me glaring the sun in his face a few too many times with my reflector card, but it was fun! Right, Chris? ha! Anyhow, Chip and Lisa (and Chris), enjoy your sneak peek!

He’s getting so big-three now! I can’t help but love this picture I took of him in Indiana in July.

When I was in Indiana a month ago, doing my sister’s engagement pictures, I saw this now “infamous” sign. Funny thing, I grew up right next to Tipton, and passed this sign my whole life! Just thought I’d share.

Andrew was my first senior portrait for 2010 this year! Senior pictures are still some of my favorites to do. His family goes to our church, The Point. It was so much fun to head out to my secret locations with Andrew and his mom and do these pictures. Casey, thank you for being my assistant that day!
I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Well, this is gonna be a long post, y’all! Cassie is one of my baby sisters, and she is getting married in November! It was a hard choice, but we decided that I would not be doing her wedding pictures, so that I could be part of the day. I’m not sure how, but somehow I will manage to be at peace not having my camera there! Anyhow, I did want to do her engagement pictures. So, a few weeks ago, I headed up to Northern Indiana to Jake’s farm that he just purchased to do some pictures with them. Jake is a good ol’ farm boy, the guy Cassie always wanted! They both work for seed companies (agriculture), and so they wanted to do pictures in a corn, wheat, and soybean field! Luckily, we had access to those right around his house. The corn field is actually his! It was so much fun. Jake is not a “please take my picture” kind of a guy, but he was very patient, and I think he even had a bit of fun, although I wouldn’t expect him to admit that!
Cassie, I remember holding you for the first time when you were born, and here you are getting married! Jake, we are so happy to have you be a part of our family, and we pray that the Lord will bless your marriage. Okay, I’m getting teary-eyed, time to stop being all sentimental! I posted more pictures than normal, because I love them all! And, because, as my sister, she’s getting more pictures than most clients!
Just one of the many perks of being related to me!
ha! Love you, guys! Enjoy your pictures!

Phil and Stephanie were in town for a visit recently! They are friends that we got only a little time with before God moved them on from our church for Phil to be a children’s pastor in Arkansas. I had the privilege of photographing Addison when she was just a little baby girl! I was so blessed that I got to take their pictures.
It quickly got hot that day, and Addison quickly lost patience with us, but thanks to the pink ball and a bit of patience, we got some good shots!
We miss you all, but we know the Lord is using you in Arkansas to proclaim the gospel. God bless, and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

And, one just for fun…it reminds me of the one I took when she was a baby!
(6th one down!)

Okay, so, yes…June 25. I’m running a bit behind these days on editing, but everyone is being so patient with me. Thank you all! I got the privilege-again!-of photographing Jen’s kids. She and her husband, Ben, have three beautiful girls and one cute boy! Baby L is one now! I did his newborn pictures and six month pictures. Time sure goes fast! Jen and Ben have a lovely property that we got to do our shoot on. This was a mixture of portraits and lifestyle photography. The girls even had a little tea party with grandma’s childhood china..complete with real tea, and fresh rasberries from the garden and mini muffins! Thank you, Jen, for putting your trust in me again! I hope you enjoy your pictures! Love ya!
