Okay, so this one just cracks me up! I love it! I love how Mary Beth is calmly in the air, while still holding onto the flower girl on the ground!

Mary Beth picked this railroad track herself for their pictures, and specifically this spot on the tracks, because it’s where the two tracks become one…just like they did this day! So cool!

Well, it’s time for a few posts for Derek and Mary Beth. First one goes up tonight! :) I met Derek several years ago, when I was doing pictures for the Josh Martin Band. He was a young, skinny boy with a big head of curly blond hair, who played a mean guitar. :) I thought he was just such a cool kid, although very quiet. I met Mary Beth for the first time when Shane and I lived at Cedarmore Camp and there was a live concert there. I just loved her from the moment I met her. These two are the most laid back, gentle people you will meet! They love the Lord, and are actively pursuing serving Him with their lives. They have recently moved here to Frankfort, to help out with our church. We are so blessed to have them with us, and are so blessed that God called them together! I was so excited when they said they had to have me do their pictures! I had so much fun with them! It was a short, simple wedding, but they had their eyes on the goal…to get married to each other! Their church was in an industrial park, so we talked ahead of time, and decided to go with it! So, we had fun doing some new stuff!  They were so laid back and sweet, even when things didn’t always go right as planned. Mary Beth had a bit of a surprise ‘trash the dress’ session before the ceremony and handled it like a champ. And, she was still a beautiful bride. :) Love you guys. I hope you enjoy looking at these sneak peeks of your pictures. May the Lord bless your marriage and may He be glorified in your lives.

Brandon ‘10

After photographing Micheal (see previous post), we met up with his cousin, Brandon. Brandon and his mother bravely rode in my car :) as we went around downtown Frankfort to several locations to do his photo shoot. He’s a very nice young man, a great runner (one of the best in his school, from what I hear!) and girls…look at those eyes! They are just as blue in person! We weren’t sure this session was going to happen, because of the weather, but God had grace on us this day, and the rain came just as we ended! :) I had fun with these pictures, as I’m trying out some new editing techniques. God bless and I hope you all like your sneak peek as much as I do! :)

Micheal ‘10

Back in the fall, I did some engagement pictures (here), which were some of my favorites I had done up to that point! Well, Kyle is Micheal’s cousin, as you can certainly tell from their pictures! Micheal’s mom emailed and we set up some senior pictures for Michael downtown at the Capitol building. Right after Michael’s senior pictures, I did senior pictures for his other cousin, Brandon. :) (that’s where the bottom picture comes in) Micheal and Brandon go to rival schools and so they wanted a picture together in their school colors. Micheal was great to work with and had one of the best natural smiles I’ve seen yet in a teenage boy! :) We had alot of fun. Thanks for choosing me, and enjoy your sneak peeks.

Chris ‘09

I had the privilege of photographing Chris for a second time this year! The first time he just needed a quick picture for his yearbook, and this time was for his “real” senior sitting, even though he has already graduated! Better late than never! Chris’ family goes to our church, and it was great to work with him.  :) We went out and he put up with me glaring the sun in his face a few too many times with my reflector card, but it was fun! Right, Chris? ha! Anyhow, Chip and Lisa (and Chris), enjoy your sneak peek! :)

The boy

He’s getting so big-three now! I can’t help but love this picture I took of him in Indiana in July.

Random

When I was in Indiana a month ago, doing my sister’s engagement pictures, I saw this  now “infamous” sign. Funny thing, I grew up right next to Tipton, and passed this sign my whole life!  Just thought I’d share.

DSC_0036

Well, I’m a bit behind! Nothing new, but before my clients give up on me :) , I wanted to give them a quick sneak peek of what is to come! I’m always blessed to have very patient clients. :) Just wanted to let you know what’s coming! :) Thank you! :) So, her’s a few quick sneak peeks for Chris, Michael, Brandon, Derek and Mary Beth, and Emily and Jason! :)

Andrew ‘10

Andrew was my first senior portrait for 2010 this year! Senior pictures are still some of my favorites to do. His family goes  to our church, The Point.  It was so much fun to head out to my secret locations with Andrew and his mom and do these pictures. Casey, thank you for being my assistant that day! :) I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!
